Magma Approved Installer…

Why Join the Programme?

Highway and utilities works continue to move towards safer and more sustainable reinstatement methods. The Magma Approved Installer Programme supports this by training operatives in the correct use of specialist cold‑applied materials.

The course develops both technical understanding and hands‑on ability, helping teams deliver reinstatements that are consistent, durable, and in line with system requirements.

Let’s talk about getting your team trained.

1. Toolbox Talk and Theory Session

A structured presentation covering:

  • System overview and ironwork reinstatement process
  • Crew requirements and installation sequencing
  • Chemical curing, waste management, and cleaning

This session provides operatives with the foundational knowledge they need before moving to hands-on practice.

2. Demo Box Hands‑On Practice

Operatives put theory into practice in a controlled environment:

  • Hands-on experience with materials and performance
  • Guided practice at a controlled pace
  • Safe environment for mistakes and corrections

This controlled practice allows learning to be fully embedded before operatives move to live site work.

3. Live Installation Supervision

Operatives carry out a real-life ironwork reinstatement under trainer supervision:

  • Application of knowledge to actual site conditions
  • Excavation and chamber preparation in context
  • Professional support and guidance throughout

This real-world scenario demonstrates best practices that aren’t possible in a demo box, with trained support available for any questions.

What the Training Covers

The programme combines theory, controlled practice, and supervised live installation. Each step reinforces correct installation methods and best practices.

Success Stories

DrainTecOperator

Rob was an excellent instructor, and the training was well-paced and clearly explained. He ensured that everyone, regardless of their experience or prior exposure to ironwork replacement, understood each step of the process and the relevant underlying principles.

East Riding of YorkshireOperations Supervisor

It was a great day for the team to get hands-on experience with the Magma HardMaster and PermaFyx systems. We saw firsthand how these solutions improve both efficiency and quality during ironwork installation.

Terra SolutionsManager

The lads and myself really found the course interesting, and Rob made it very easy and understandable to learn. This is a great product you have, and it is very straightforward to use with your traffic light system on the products.
