The Magma EdgeFast range is a general-purpose cold joint paint that is designed to improve the bond performance of new material with existing bituminous substrates. EdgeFast is specially formulated for use on both vertical and horizontal joint faces on asphalt and macadam surfaces. The cationic formulation provides a fast break, and hence earlier weather resistance than anionic products.
This material meets the guide speciļ¬cation in clause NG 6.5(2) of Appendix NG 6 of the Highways, Roads and Street Works Act 1991. EdgeFast cold joint paint is available in pouring or brushing grades.
There are two EdgeFast variations available: EdgeFast W550, a standard brush grade and EdgeFast W552, a high viscosity brushing grade.
